This Course on "Injunctions: A Practitioner’s Guide" consists of 3 Lessons:

The Course aims to orient the learner on the fundamental principles / concepts relating to injunctions (e.g., law of equity, enforceable right, clean hands doctrine, serious question to be tried and balance of convenience). It discusses the different types of injunctions, including their application in various situations, and the jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts to grant injunctive orders.

David M. Quick, QC
Visiting Associate Professor, School of Law, City University of Hong Kong

David Quick was admitted in South Australia in 1970. He then worked as a Barrister and Solicitor for a law firm until 1977, when he moved to the practice Bar and practised as a Barrister.

During that time he has held several legal appointments with the Australian Defence Force including Defence Force Magistrate and Judge Advocate.

He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1984.

In addition to the practice of Law, he has held teaching positions as Lecturer in the Department of Legal Education, HKU (1989/90) and at Adelaide University. Mr Quick is currently a Visiting Associate Professor at the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong.
