Understanding financial statements is important in order to be able to make sound investment decisions.

In the Course you will learn:

The basic contents and look of financial statements. This Lesson will familiarize you with the Directors' Report, the Auditors' Report, the Income Statement, the Balance Sheet, the Statement of changes in Equity, the Cash Flow Statement, and the Notes to the Financial Statements.

That the basic financial statements are the Income Statement, the Balance Sheet, the Statement of Changes in Equity and the Cash Flow Statement. The Directors' Report, the Auditors' Report, and the Notes to the Financial Statements add detail and explain the information summarized in the basic statements.
